i think i may start this thing back up again.

66 things about me
1. When I was in 11th grade, I was conservative, politically speaking.
2. In 11th grade, Emily Jordan's older brother,Paul, showed me a video of the WTO protests/the police brutality that went on there.
3. It's been a journey to the Left since then.
4. Political ideology is extremely important to me. With the exception of my mother, it's really hard for me to not yell at Right-Wing extremists.
5. I will be a United States Senator or Congresswoman. And, possibly the President of the United States.
6. I'm confident, bordering on arrogant.
7. There are worse things than being arrogant.
8. Like letting insecurity paralyze you.
9. I like taking pictures, particular portraits.
10. Looking at pictures that Emily Jordan's taken of me and my friends makes my heart hurt.
11. I have a year to decide whether or not I'm going to go to law school.
12. I think regret is valid and can be a great motivator and I encourage it in people who have consistently made the wrong choices.
13. I've made about 5 wrong choices.
14. I've basically fixed all of them. So I'm essentially regret-free.
15. I get along pretty well with my mother these days.
16. Haha, this is a very, very new development.
17. I'm taking 18 credits at Stony Brook University and some days it is a pain in my fucking ass.
18. I love public speaking.
20. I've been with my boyfriend, Jon, for approximately 2.5 years, and I plan to marry him.

22. I know a lot of people think that's CRAZY.
23. A lot of people aren't as lucky as I've been.
24. I wish I didn't care what other people thought.
25. If someone says "I don't care what people think", they really want people to think they don't care what people think.
26. If I really didn't care what people thought, I'd never wear a bra, or high heels.
27. I like clothes, but I hate paying a lot for them.
28. I've been buying a healthy portion of my clothes from thrift stores since I turned 16.
29. I don't like wearing shorts in the summer. I just don't like shorts.
30. A year and a half from now I'll have graduated college, and will be moving into Brooklyn.
31. My job, graduate/law school is all up in the air.
32. I like having things planned out.
33. Even though, most of the time things don't go according to plan.
34. I have two dogs.
35. I want to have a puppy when I move out.
36. Man, I love Count Chocula cereal.
37. I want to have at least 2 children, and as many as 5.
38. I want to raise my children in Manhattan.
39. I have extraordinarily small hands.
40. I am a chronic procrastinator. But I'm never late.
41. One of my biggest pet peeves is tardiness. BE ON TIME.
42. I love love love movies and have a well thought out Top 100 List.
43. One of my "pie in the sky" dreams is to write and film a movie before I die.
44. I visited Jon in Madrid for four and half days this October, and it's the most fun I've had in my life so far.
45. I love America, and would like to spend a good portion of my life improving it.
46. I've had my heart broken twice, once when Jon and I broke up and once when America re-elected GWB.
47. My hair has been blonde, red, auburn, dark brown, and black.
48. It is now in its natural state: medium brown.
49. I eat meat. And I like it.
50. I've broken every one of my fingers, and my right knuckle.
51. I call my Dad papas fritas.
52. I seem to be unable to grasp certain scientific concepts like the size of the universe.
53. I was raised Roman Catholic, and even attended Catholic school for 6 and a half years.
54. Religion, God, god....not that important, no matter which team you play for.
55. I like cooking and have really been getting into that.
56. I have been known to drink, but not regularly. at all. Very infrequently, actually.
57. I tend not to like people who drink on a daily, bi-daily, or weekly basis.
58. I like parks and playgrounds because everyone there is making an effort to appreciate the day.
59. I like lying on the grass.
60. I'm probably at my bitchiest when someone wakes me up before I intended to get up.
61. I'm a pretty light sleeper and wake up when someone opens to door to my bedroom.
62. I like Christmas, but not winter.
63. I think the reason nicknames never really stuck with me is because people spend a good portion of their time with me, speaking sternly with me. And nicknames are always dropped when a stern tone is taken.
64. I've had an awful lot of jobs.
65. I love the idea of a best friend.
66. Alyssa Rimland has been my best friend for 6.5 years.
